Interior Designer (Bangkok)

Location of work: Chapman Taylor Bangkok office. (BTS Ratchadamri)

Job Summary:

A creative leader who will be responsible for designing and delivering world-class projects around South East Asia for our international clients. We are looking for a proactive candidate who will be responsible for the design and coordination of multiple Interior Design Projects in South East Asia from concept to construction. Good command in English is required.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Research project location, local variables analysis and elements of inspiration.
• Create main Concept and Design Development of the Interior Design.
• Coordinate with clients, rest of consultants and technical teams.
• Manage project timeline, deliverables, and resources.
• Constant contact with product suppliers, materials, furniture, and equipment for the latest information.
• Develop projects with international design standards for delivery of high-quality spaces.
• Elaborate technical details and construction drawings to international standards.
• Site monitoring and supervision support as required for completion of the project.

Candidate qualification:

• Male / Female. Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture/Interior Design/Architecture or related fields.
• 2-5 years’ experience as an Interior Designer for International projects, hospitality, retail, office or commercial developments.
• Strong sketching and hand drawing skills.
• Advanced computer design skills. Ability to use AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit, 3D Modelling & Rendering is a must. (Lumion / Enscape)
• Tracking the latest design trends and passion for design quality and excellence.
• Knowledgeable in the latest world innovations and happenings in the design industry.
• Luxury Hospitality, Office and Retail preferred.
• Good knowledge of materials, specs, and construction detailing.
• Strong leadership, self-organization, and coordination skills. High integrity, problem solving and initiative.
• Multi-taking and ability to handle a few projects at the same time.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Thai National only.
